Hey Everyone, it's me Maggie,.. sorry I haven 't written sooner, but we have been awfully busy lately,...

My Mom caught me daydreaming the other day when she was outside hanging Christmas lights,.......
What are Christmas lights????

Anyway,.. things are pretty much the same here as when I left in Sept.,....

I do miss Sarah and Rob, the nice people that I went to live with for a little while,....


but I know they are not far away, because everynight when I go to sleep, I lay down on my big feather bed that they bought just for me,......and right before I close my eyes,... I picture their smiling faces that made me feel so good!

I took this Picture this afternon when I got home from work,...
It was just 75 degrees on Wed.!!

Things in Life happen for a reason,..for Maggie, these last few months have only been a stepping stone on her journey home.

Rob and Sarah have decided that they cannot give Maggie what she needs to make her life complete. Not saying that they didn't try everything they knew of to make this happen,...but sometimes it just doesn't work.

I said in the beginning ,that if things did not work that Maggie could come back to me,...and we would try to find her a new home,..
Well Maggie is coming back to Us,.. to stay,..Maggie is coming back to Iowa,... to her new and final fur-ever home .

We have had many a setter come thru our doors, while they waited for their furver family to find them,.. and everytime they left, we always had that fleeting thought,.....of
"I wish they could stay"!

There is something Special about Maggie,.. not exactly sure , but I remember seeing it in her eyes, whenever she would be watching me throughout the day,...when she would lift her head out of a dead sleep, and wag her tail as I walked by,...

So this Saturday, 11/11, we will be reunited,... I can't wait to see her again,..

This is my new Mom, and Dad, and Me! I'm finally home! Thank you, everyone at Above and Beyond, and all the nice people who gave me a ride, my foster moms, and of course Sally Mayes, who saw me when I was in trouble, and sick with heart worm, she cared enough to make sure I made it to safety.

Hi, It's me Maggie,
I just wanted to say a special "Thank-You" to my Foster Mom's in Illinois. You were so good to me, and made feel comfortable, even when I was a little growly.
I know you all are out there somewhere, many miles away,.....
But you all will be furever in my heart!
